Welcome! 👋 Let's get you started with your virtual board game shelf.

Our mission is simple, let's get people playing more board games together. Gathering around a board game brings people closer and helps make the world a little less lonely and a lot more fun.

That is our goal and you are already on your way to help us achieve it! The first thing you want to do this add your board game collection. Once your collection is added you can share it with friends and family so they can see what they can play.

Kallax.io makes it easier to search across multiple board game collections and find just the right game to play. You can also use the site arrange board game nights where you can vote for what to play and organize who brings what!

Your friends do not need an account to see your collection or participate in your board game nights! However, if they do create an account then you can befriend them and start searching in their board game collection too.

So, where to go from here?

Add your Board Game Collection
The first step is setting up your virtual board game shelf. You can either manually add the games you own or import it from BoardGameGeek if you have an account.

Advanced Search
You can perform advanced searches across multiple board game collections. Looking for a game for 3 players that is easy to learn, takes about 30 minutes, does not involve dice throwing and that you are your friends owns? Easy, just search.

Add Friends
Everything is better with friends and that includes Kallax. Friends can search across each others board game collections and invite to private board game nights.

Arrange Board Game Nights
Let's get to actual playing board games shall we? Create an event and invite your friends and family. Vote for which games to play and coordinate who brings what.
